Most positions with Ohio county and state parks, and the Ohio Division of Wildlife, require a two-year wildlife degree. Bill-sweeping or sweeping: a display in which a pair of birds sweep their bills back and forth over the bark near their nest hole. By the 1920s and 1930s, Cornell, Berkeley, and Michigan had active graduate programs in these areas, and the number continued to rise into the middle of the twentieth century.
